Rodeway Inn

Location was convenient to highways and sights. Staff was helpful. Room was comfortable. Adjacent restaurant was nice and quite reasonable.

I showed up very early in the middle of a rainstorm and the staff let me leave my things there while I explored down town. Very nice, comfortable rooms. The Orlean express bus also leaves from the hotel and you can manage your booking there.

Restaurant is in front of my room, there is even a laundry. Close to supermarket Maxi, Mcdonald, city center.

The hostel is located very close the Forillon National Park. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. There is a place to setup a cozy bonfire and we got to meet a few people who were staying along with us. Emily and Alex are friendly and very nice people, in fact the entire staff. Alex, thanks to you for letting us try Pastis, and it was really a nice drink. Unfortunately we met with a car accident in the city on our last day and Emily was just like family taking care of us. We went to Gaspe for a vacation and fortunately we ended up meeting and spending time with very nice people.

The quality of the hotel was more than we expected, however, it was quite expensive given the type of hotel. It is more like a motel than a hotel. I think a rate of a little over $120 would be good for the space. A bonus we liked was the free cancelation option. Traveling from put of town, anything could happen, so it was reassuring that if a sudden change in our commute was required...we had flexibility.
